Its been a busy crazy year for me.  Been out only a few time but have been seeing the deer.  I hope to get out a few more times up north to help Mary connect with a buck on video. 

Been scouting the pine wood and working on the youth stand hunting spot.  So far that's looking good.

12/30/2011:  A little late on this report.  The NJ 6 day was not all that great in the pines.  I was able to get a nice buck the second day.  I got the buck on video as well.  Bill was able to get a half rack buck thursday of the gun week.  Very few shots and very few bucks were checked in at the local checking stations. 

We have been out a bit.  I have two stands set up for winter bow and maybe some late permit gun hunting. 

11/01/11:  I went out to the north stand on a mission to get one of the to big boys we have been seeing on the camera.  I was in the stand at 1PM and was on the ground at 5PM.  This hunt was captured on video and i think it might be one of the biggest bucks yet. 

10/22/11: I took Mason out for his first morning hunt.  We got into the stand at day break.  We had two nice come within range. We decided to take the smaller buck, a 6 pointer rather the bigger body 5 pointer.  Photo coming soon.

10/18/11:  Mary and I went out for a mid-day hunt.  We were in the tree 3 minutes and she was able to get a shot at this nice 6 pointer. 

September Early fall bow I shot this earn a buck doe.  This hunt was captured on video.

Some of us have been out checking stands and getting ready for the early season.  Like always the woods look great.  it seems that there were lots of fawn running around this year, lots of nice buck we have been seeing up north jersey.
