Jersey Whitetail contains 18 deer hunts all filmed here in the New Jersey The Garden State. Our video has 10 exciting bow hunts and 8 slammin gun hunts, 7 shotgun hunts and one black powder hunt which was filmed on the ground at 15 yards.
Our video starts with the early bow season (earn a bucks hunts) in the hardwoods of North Jersey and continues into the fall-bow and permit bow seasons in the South Jersey Pines home of the Jersey Devil. All footage was filmed during the 2007/08 hunting seasons.
We have bow hunts which were filmed in the Colliers Mills WMA in Jackson Township (Ocean County Zone 18), bow hunts filmed in trophy buck zone 13 (Somerset County) and gun hunts filmed in the Greenwood Wildlife Management Area Barnegat (Ocean County Zone 21). We also took advantage of the Monmouth County Parks Deer Management Program and have three hunts which were filmed in the Hartshorne Park DMZ 51 (Monmouth County).
Out of these hunts we have two handicapped hunters and two youth hunters taking their first kills with the bow and gun. In our videos you will not find the fake or made up hunting scenes, you will find the real deal by the real hunter.

I have watched this video and very much enjoyed it. One thing that Jim does in really bring you inside his life. With pictures of his boys in the woods with him and the fishing clips you feel like you are one of Jim's friends. At least I did. His son Jesse's first bow hunt is an instant classic with his reactions - I have a feeling he will be a staple in many more of Jersey Whitetail Productions. I love the set up with the over the shoulder hunts with Mary. I won't giveaway the 7 pointer hunt though, can you say antler soup?? I would also bet you will always have an extra orange lid in your truck for that one hunt where you may need it.
All in al a very entertaining video. It's not easy getting deer kills on video when you are by yourself but Jim succeeds time and time again.

jimmy the difference between this dvd and the shows on tv you actually feel like your are there... you show blood trails and walking up on the deer nit just holding it...as much as i hate crossbows for the able bodied sportsman i enjoyed watching those gentlemens hunts. its good to see they can still hunt because of the crossbow.
this dvd is a must to watch i enjoyed it and i think everyone who purchases wont be disappointed.

jimmy, I watched the whole show, and thought it was great. I would rather watch you, your crew and your kids than alot of the high paid guys on OLN. Mason is a gas, he will out shine you. lol at least he thought to leave a hat in the truck for ya. Its a wonder you could even get it to sit there.

Great video! Got my copy yesterday at the Chum Bucket and watched it last night. Love the way you capture the kids excitement, and bucks that we'er used to seeing in Jersey. Great job.
